Food being the most important part of our life is as essential as any other need. With processed food and fast food, the ease of grabbing a snack is easier than ever but they might serve as a stomach filler at the moment, but the main purpose stays unaccomplished. The main nutritional need for the day is not fulfilled and all the vitamins, minerals, carbohydrates, proteins and a little amount of fats needed stays imbalanced. To live a longer and a healthier life this is what you should do, at least it’s better than taking a shortcut to a shorter and troubled life afterward.

Fruits and Veggies

It’s a clear fact that to us meat is more savoring and tastier than other stuff but when the consumption gets off the charts, it’s a big problem. You are not asked to be a complete Vegan but are just suggested to avoid it some time so you could have the stomach to digest it till you reach a satisfying old age.

Now fruits are loved by everyone, the problem comes when we talk about veggies. Now it is advised to take both of these in required amounts as suggested by a dietician. They are harmless plants but are also sugars, it means you can ruin your teeth. You can look up for great recipes to avoid mine holes.

Now yogurt might be a simple white creamy little content, but you don’t know how beneficial it is for you, especially during breakfast. Greek yogurt is often suggested instead of simple yogurt as it is creamier and thicker and has a higher fat and protein content. Moreover, Greek yogurt can be used by lactose-intolerants.

Saturated fats and sugars

Saturated fats come from meat fats, sausages, cream, biscuits, hard cheese, pies, lard, cakes, etc.

I know it’s hard but try to cut down on these they can make you fat in no time. Try things with fish oil and olive oil instead of butter, lard and ghee.

Similarly, sugars if over consumed are no better. They can cause many complications like obesity and tooth decay. Diets rich in sugar content should be taken in a calculated amount between meals. Also, fizzy drinks, cakes, biscuits, pastries and puddings, sweets and chocolates and alcoholic beverages should be taken in appropriate amounts to maintain a healthy lifestyle.

Thus, to live long and a healthier life you might have to go through some changes as it is best for you.
